Maintenance Manager

Job Description

ALT Title

Centercut is your go-to landscape management team, offering comprehensive services under one roof: maintenance, irrigation, enhancements, spray division, tree service, construction, design, and pest control. With an old-school, client-centric philosophy and a reputation for impeccable service and communication, Centercut is redefining commercial landscape management in the Las Vegas Valley.

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Division.

This role oversees a team of Field Supervisors, who then work directly with crews to carry out all maintenance tasks. All responsibilities listed below are ultimately the Maintenance Manager’s accountability, but day-to-day crew direction is delegated through Field Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

Time Management & Compliance
  • Ensure Field Supervisors verify that all crews clock in and out accurately and maintain updated Aspire schedules.
  • Review Geotab data weekly with Supervisors to confirm crew locations and reduce unauthorized travel.
  • Track and manage overtime; approve only when necessary.
  • Analyze productivity trends and direct Supervisors to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure routes and schedules are optimized through Supervisor review of work time vs. transit time.
Field Supervision & Quality Control
  • Conduct monthly quality inspections across all properties, supported by Field Supervisors.
  • Deliver quality reports to Account Managers and ensure Supervisors complete required corrections.
  • Ensure Supervisors confirm that crews submit site photos before leaving properties.
  • Lead account-retention efforts through proactive service and problem-resolution.
  • Track quality score trends and set improvement goals for Supervisors.
  • Establish expectations for turnaround times on field corrections and ensure Supervisors meet them.
Team Leadership & Communication
  • Hold regular check-ins with Field Supervisors; Supervisors handle daily crew huddles.
  • Oversee performance evaluations, coaching, and documentation in partnership with HR.
  • Build a positive, accountable team culture using engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Track and improve Supervisor training completion and support long-term crew retention.
  • Administer quarterly employee satisfaction pulse surveys (collected through supervisors).
Hiring & Training
  • Lead hiring for Field Supervisors; oversee Supervisor-led hiring of crew members.
  • Ensure the division remains fully staffed with qualified personnel.
  • Ensure monthly leadership training is completed by Supervisors and Crew Leaders.
Equipment & Inventory Management
  • Coordinate with the Asset Manager to schedule vehicle and equipment maintenance; Supervisors ensure compliance.
  • Perform weekly gate checks with Supervisors to confirm equipment readiness.
  • Oversee monthly inventory submissions and verify that Supervisors manage replenishment.
  • Monitor equipment and tool utilization and reduce underutilization through Supervisor accountability.
  • Maintain 100% preventive-maintenance compliance for vehicles and tools.
Safety & Compliance
  • Track all safety incidents and conduct root-cause analysis with the Safety Department; Supervisors handle field-level corrections.
  • Perform random safety checks and ensure Supervisors enforce 100% PPE compliance.
Workflow Efficiency & Problem-Solving
  • Ensure Aspire time entries are updated daily with accurate crew assignments.
  • Implement operational improvements that increase field productivity.
  • Track field issue response times and assign Supervisors to execute timely resolutions.
  • Ensure proper break durations are maintained through Supervisor oversight.
  • Direct Supervisors to optimize crew assignments to reduce overtime and eliminate inefficiencies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance supervision or management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance, irrigation systems, and horticulture best practices.
  • Proven leadership experience managing Supervisors or field teams.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Aspire, Geotab, or similar field-operations software preferred.
  • OSHA 10/30 familiarity; CPR/AED certification.
  • Knowledge of Nevada landscape standards is a plus.

What We Offer

  • A strong culture of teamwork, respect, and craftsmanship.
  • High-impact work across Southern Nevada.
  • Supportive leadership and clear performance expectations.
  • Competitive pay and benefits.
  • Company truck or vehicle allowance.
  • Career-growth opportunities through training and development.
